Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. The mother of her child, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese ancestry, while the father of her, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with deep roots within The American South. Olivia was only two when her parents divorced. Her family consisted of her stepfather as well as her mother who was an United States Air Force member. Olivia was raised mostly within Tokyo and Japan. Although her family had moved from Oklahoma to various other locations, it was it in Tokyo that she received most of her schooling. During this time, she appeared in various local theater productions, and then was a model within the Japanese fashion business. Olivia relocated to Los Angeles when her family eventually came back to the United States to follow her dream to be an actress. After playing a couple of roles in her professional career, she took an extremely promising direction after she secured the part as Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-focused TV series Beyond the Break (2006) and also the role of Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan (2007). She hosts the podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" as well as "The Daily Nut". Her passion for surfing has been evident since the 2006 TV show Beyond the Break. Also, she is a black belt in Taekwondo. In the year she turned two old, her mother got married again and this time with a member of the US Air Force. Despite the fact that family members moved around frequently, her mother was raised in Tokyo which she shared in the military. University of Oklahoma.
