Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American performer, actress and song writer. Many people know her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series "The Goldbergs.' But, she is primarily an artist. Music was always her first passion. When she reached 12 years old, her music began to take an adolescent turn and she began to train professionally. When she was 13, she started writing songs. Her debut album when she was 14. From then on, she has never ever looked back. Orrantia has been born in the USA but has Hispanic origins. Although she spoke only English throughout her childhood and not been to Mexico Orrantia is proud of her Hispanic origins. She endeavours to maintain it through becoming fluent in Spanish as well as writing songs using the language. The singer recorded an Spanish version of a track, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was selected to audition for the first season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X-Factor when she uploaded a YouTube performance video. She received the four "yes" vote from the judge during the live stage show in Seattle. Although she originally auditioned on her own during "Hollywood Week" She, along with three other female singers, were put into an ensemble for the remainder of the auditions.
