Hayley Orrantia is an American performer, actress and songwriter. Most people recognise her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy The Goldbergs' TV show. Her primary focus is as a performer. When she was nine years old of age, she was playing around with music. When she was 12 she was taking the music seriously enough that she began professional training. At 13, she began making music. Her debut album in the age of 14. The music has never stopped since then. Orrantia, born in America but with Hispanic ancestry. She has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English as a child and her whole life was in the United States. To preserve the heritage she's learning Spanish. She also creates songs that incorporate the language. A song she has created is called "Hasta Verte," which was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Her YouTube video was selected and she got four "yeses", or votes by the judges at the Seattle audition. Her initial audition was a solo performer, but in the course of "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were added to a group to continue the auditions. The group was eliminated at the fifth week of the live program.
